OUR STORY
The Nourish Foundation was created by a group of women whose professional paths first crossed through community work in Vancouver. What began as collaboration grew into strong friendships and a shared vision: a community where every family has reliable access to the essentials that support a healthy and dignified life.
Through these shared conversations and experiences, we developed a commitment to strengthen the networks of support already serving Vancouver families, bringing together our combined expertise in community engagement, operations and grant writing, communications, and social work. We wanted to ensure that resources reach the right programs at the right time without unnecessary barriers so that families can access the food, education, and care they need to thrive.
As a Vancouver-based Social Investment Foundation, we partner for impact. We fund trusted community projects that fill gaps in food security, early learning, and family support, working alongside grassroots and established organizations to maximize results. Our approach is strategic, transparent, and focused on lasting change, ensuring every donor sees how their contribution transforms lives.
Through these partnerships, we are weaving a stronger social fabric, where resources flow freely, communities grow resilient, and every child and family has the opportunity to flourish. Together, we're building a more connected, hopeful, and nourished Vancouver.
